This month we collaborated with SKINNYFATTIES to bring our subscribers their own high-end handcrafted (skinny) tie. SKINNY FATTIES (pronounced Skinny-fat-ties) launched in 2012 and is a one-stop [tie tailoring] shop based in Brooklyn, NY. Their unique tie alteration service lets you customize your ties to whatever width you prefer. Your former "fat" tie can be transformed into a wearable piece that actually fits your body. It's also important to note that a portion of each purchase is donated to Career Gareer, which helps low income men get back to work.
This month's color choices of pink, purple and green allows the wearer to showcase spring colors in their wardrobe.
The micro gingham pattern of the tie makes it easy to pair it with a patterned shirt, blazer and pocket square. It can also be worn with a solid shirt (obviously) but not of the same color or shade, preferably.

For a more casual look, wear it with a light chambray shirt, denim jacket and fun tie clip

For a more bold look, try a lapel flower and pocket square.
In 2013, they launched their own line of luxury neckties. To check them out or for more information on SKINNYFATTIES, here is the link to their website.
Don't forget to show us how you're accessorizing your tie by using #getdapper.
